This year's Metrocon Expo & Conference (sponsored by OM Workspace and DG Publishing Inc) went off without a hitch. This year's June Total Home & Gift Market at Dallas Market Center proved the design market is perking up after a recently sluggish economy. With a bevy of speakers and presentations throughout the event, special guest Lee Eiseman lit up the room with a riveting 2010 Color Trends forecast presentation. DG Publishing, Inc., a Dallas-based company that publishes the Dallas-Fort Worth and Austin-San Antonio Design Guides, announced two new titles that will be added to its brand. The first is The Texas Wedding Guide (TWG), a semi-annual publication designed to assist a bride with the wedding planning process. It was acquired by DG Publishing, Inc. in April. In October, DG Publishing, Inc. will expand its presence in the world of interior design with the launch of DG Commercial, a publication dedicated to resources for office design, relocation and transition.
